Later in the year around September some of the bull rushes will be cut back from the pontoon viewing stages after the wildlife have finished nesting. Princesmead shopping centre has been sold to a developer with plans to build 350 homes. The press release said they have a long term plan to re-energise the retail market and provide homes. They say this plan will be in addition to the other civic centre plans already being brought forward by Rushmoor Council. Through delivery of affordable homes and the successful re-imagination of our high streets. The developers also say there plan to develop would be delivered before the first phase of the Civic quarter plans for the town.
