Update Lynchford Roadworks

Councillor Craig Card met today with a Hampshire County Council official about the traffic chaos at Park and Queens road. The issue of huge volumes of traffic entering these roads due to the Lynchford roadworks was discussed and it is promised that this would be looked at and alternative proposals will be brought forward in the coming weeks. Hampshire county council has asked Surrey county council to put diversion signs up on the A331.
We have also had confirmation that the works at Alexandra Road have been postponed for a few days following the concerns we put forward. We will keep you updated on these issues.
