Park and Queens Road

Lib Dems were out again this week counting traffic on Park and Queens Road. Our count shows no decrease in the number of vehicles using these roads. We have again contacted Hampshire Highways over this issue calling them to resolve the diversion problems the Lynchford Road improvements are causing.

Lib Dems are calling for:

To change the traffic flow so Lynchford Road traffic runs from the A331 to Queens Roundabout.

Until this is done:

More repeater 20mile hour flashing signs on Queens Road by the Schools.

Signs on the A331 junction North Camp saying follow official diversion where there are none at this time 8 weeks after work started. So they do not use Park and Queens Road as a diversion. This would only help with drivers who do not know the area and not those from outside who come to work in Farnborough who already know the rat run.
